Scholarly elements include didactic coursework for the global health residents, an interdisciplinary summer institute (starting summer 2017) aimed at students & trainees who are interested in participating in global health efforts, and a global health symposium (this year, it will be held March 6-9th) open to Rush students and employees as well as the greater Chicago community as a chance to hear expert lecturers on topics of interest in global health as well as updates from peers on current efforts in global health (via a poster & abstracts).
