Our insight-filled, socially responsible, mutually beneficial exchanges leverage 20+ years’ experience engaging Cuban health leaders, as well as health workers, on the front lines of research and practice in the country.

MEDICC trips are well-rounded to expose you to many aspects of health and well-being in Cuba, including the island’s vibrant culture and community-led projects in historic Havana. You’ll be able to spend time with your professional colleagues and Cubans from all walks of life.

Past participants in MEDICC Gateways have returned home energized to deepen partnerships with Cuban professionals and their institutions, and to use insights they gained in Cuba to tackle health and social issues in their home communities. Through Gateways, you’ll take home memories…but also lifelong inspiration.
