Hillside welcomes both long and short term health professional volunteers. Volunteers are readily incorporated into all aspects of the daily Hillside program, including working with the students. Long term volunteers have the opportunity to contribute to program growth and innovation. A two-week minimum stay is encouraged while long term volunteers stay one year or longer.

Obtaining a temporary license in Belize is mandatory for all volunteers prior to their arrival at Hillside. When volunteering with Hillside, our administration will facilitate the licensing process for you. To do so, we need a copy of your CV, Medical School Diploma and Medical License at least 3 months prior to your desired start date. Each volunteer is asked to pay an application fee which helps defray the costs of this process.
