Description:

In 2001, HMMW funds and initiative helped to establish a health care clinic, Centre de Santé Sacré-Cœur de Thiotte (CSST) in Thiotte, Haiti. The clinic is operated year-round by Haitian health care staff which provides preventive and primary care services, and health education to the surrounding communities of over 120,000 people.

HMMW funds support clinic operations and Haitian staff. HMMW and our medical mission volunteer teams collaborate with CSST staff and other Haitian practitioners to provide additional education, preventive, primary and pediatric care. We also provide comprehensive eye health care, general surgery, and dental services. Our priorities are Haitian driven.
