The Bamboo Project Powered by GVN is the next step in independent volunteering and adventure travel. We're dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what responsible tourism is all about. Our dedicated team, consisting of the perfect mix of international travellers and passionate locals.

Since 2002 over 24,036 volunteers have trusted us on worthy projects globally. Through Bamboo-GVN they have raised more than US$ 2,457,493.14 in donations and been responsible for thousands upon thousands of volunteer hours.

Currently The Bamboo Project powered by GVN has volunteer projects focussing on childcare, community development, conservation, construction, education and medical needs of developing communities in Asia; Thailand, Cambodia, Nepal, Philippines, and Viet Nam. In Africa; Ethiopia, Rwanda, Uganda, and Ghana and in the Americas; Argentina, Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Peru.
