Description:

The Glens Falls Medical Mission Foundation is a non-profit* organization formed to provide services to a medically under-served area of Guatemala. Our goals include determining the area’s health needs through discussion with the local residents and community leaders. We then work to provide a wide range of medical and other health-related services to meet these needs.

Our team members have joined together to develop this volunteer medical project as a non-denominational community effort. Services include both direct medical care and the tools to empower the people of Guatemala to improve their own health care system. We strongly emphasize health related education.

We have conducted medical mission trips to this rural area in Guatemala since 1996.

Organizational Base: Glen Falls, New York
