Description:

Our mission is to provide free healthcare, education and community development projects such as the ONIL wood-burning cook stove and ONIL water purification systems for the indigenous population. We are passionate about changing lives in Guatemala.

Over 21,000 medical procedures and/or surgeries such as hysterectomies, cholecystectomies, hernia repairs, cleft lip and palate repairs, dental procedures, eye surgeries including cataract removal and lens implants have occurred. These interventions all have a very positive impact towards improving the health and well being of an impoverished population that rarely encounters any medical relief.

Whether you are a health professional, student, teacher, construction worker, cook, etc. we offer a variety of volunteer opportunities to utilize your talents, skills, experiences and resources.
