About Us
Christopher Dainton, MD, CCFP (EM)
Founder and Director
Dr. Christopher Dainton attended medical school at the University of Toronto, and currently practices emergency medicine in Kitchener, Ontario. He has spent time in 14 Latin American countries, and worked on short-term medical mission trips in Dominican Republic, Honduras, Nicaragua, Guatemala, and Ecuador. His global health research interests center on development of clinical resources and best practice guidelines for clinicians traveling to low resource settings.

Charlene Chu, RN, PhD
Associate Director
Charlene Chu is a Registered Nurse and University of Toronto nursing PhD. Her passion is intervention research and high tech innovation, including research examining how a mobile interfaces influence the performance of clinicians. Aside from practical nursing experience, she excels in research methods, and in the implementation and evaluation of clinical tools.
